How to Prepare Raw Sea Moss into gel form

Step 1- Clean your Sea Moss.

This process consists of soaking the Sea Moss for 14 to 20 hours and changing the water twice.

It is recommended that you use natural spring water when cleaning and preparing your sea moss.

The water used to soak the Sea moss is great for watering plants due to the minerals that are also in the water after soaking so it’s good not to waste that. Or possibly giving it to someone who has plants/garden.

Step 2- With natural spring water you want to rinse the Sea Moss one more time

Step 3- The texture will have softened and will need to be blended up with a small amount of natural spring water as well.

You want to focus on not adding too much water so that you can get a gel like consistency. However you want to blend until it’s smooth.

Step 4- chill for 7 hours and enjoy.

If you make and freeze the sea moss gel it will last 30 days.

If you are not going to freeze the sea moss gel the expiration is 14 days in the refrigerator.

You can use this gel in pretty much anything. You can use it topically on your skin and in your hair you can use it and make it into other products (cheese, soap, skin & hair masks and more)

The most common way to use it is in smoothies or in other foods. You can also take it by the spoonful. You can add it in your cooking it because it doesn’t have a taste so you can add it to pretty much anything however it does have a smell as similar to seaweed.

Serving size for one person is 2 Tablespoons.

3oz of raw sea moss will make 3-4 jars of gel
